In atomic physics, Mr Bohr postulated a theory that states that all matter contain atoms, which in turn are made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons. Protons are always positive, and together with the neutral neutrons, they form a positive core (nucleus) while the negative electrons revolve around it.

Your question I guess now is “So, what are you saying Mr?”

Well, I am just trying to say that we should always remain positive just like the protons. We live in a world that is highly variegated. Some people think positively (protons), some think negatively (electrons), and some just go with the flow (neutrons). The neutrons of our world today are the lukewarm, the indifferent, the “I don’t care”, and others. They really don’t take from you (directly) and neither do they add value. They are the gullible who stand for nothing and fall for anything- no definition. They seem to pose no harm or danger so they are usually closely associated. However, this set of people can influence one largely to a point that you forget the vision you have written down. And then you begin to act indifferent to what you were ones convinced about. Beware of the neutron!! Stay positive

The electrons are the highly influential ones, who have no job than to spread negative vibes. Nothing is ever right with them, and everything is always against them. They blame the system, their past, their parents, their place of birth, their colour, their school, their discipline, in fact, they are the degree holders in the field of complaining. This set of people see no good, and are always out to spot the wrong in every situation. They are blind to opportunities that a challenge can present. They are radical pessimist! They are the virus of depression! They are sponsors of psychological catastrophe! Unfortunately, this set of people revolve round our world and we can do nothing about it. But just as with neutrons, beware of the electrons!! Stay positive

Now, you may be pondering, “how do I stay positive?” Well, I’ll leave you with 1 Timothy 2:7

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]”

This world is not for the fearful, it is for the “spiritually violent” that put their hands to the plow and never look back. Those who embrace the power and joy of salvation, and allow the spirit of God to take over their being. Those who trust the Lord with their visions, dreams, plans, desires, and lean not on their understanding (because your understanding can be very negative) (Proverbs 3:5). Those who think of themselves the way God thinks of them. God said you are a chosen generation and a royal priesthood. He said His thoughts for you is to prosper and be in health, He said you are the head and not the tail, He said all things work together for your good, He said He is with you always till the end of time! He said if we ask anything in His name, He’ll do it! He said He has overcome the world.

With God, our challenges are virtual. When they come, let’s face them and overcome! If your dreams seem unattainable, God said “Is anything too hard for Me”? Do not back down, it can only get better (copied slogan)

2017 is a year that God has given over to us to do great exploit. Go in with great excitement and shun any form of negativity that may want to hinder you from falling that Goliath. Hold on to God’s words and promises, and remain positive. Envision yourself sitting with the kings and princes. Remember, as you think, so are you, …. and so you’ll become.

Have a wonderful and blessed celebration season and happy new year in advance
